January 20, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #33 Title APPROVAL OF FINANCIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER Description The Financial Advisory Committee is a citizen-based, independent group of individuals that serve at the pleasure of the Superintendent and the School Board Members of the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida.  The Committee serves in an advisory capacity and as a resource of the School Board and the Superintendent on financial matters.  There is currently one vacancy on this committee. The Superintendent is recommending Mr. Jim Blucher, effective February 1, 2015.
